At the 68th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards, LA CityView Channel 35 was awarded an Emmy for their production of "Music Matters: LA Kids and Their Music" in the Children/Youth category. "Music Matters" features four LA elementary music students in touching interviews and inspirational concert footage. Channel 35 was also recognized with two other nominations for "LAtitude - Craning up" in the Informational category and "Become a Female Fire Fighter" for Public Service Announcements.
