ITA’s Data Science Federation Wins World Smart City Award

ITA's Data Science Federation took home the first place award in the category of "Governance and Finance" at the Smart City Expo World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain. This prestigious award recognized ITA's ground-breaking and innovative approach to data science partnering 18 universities with departments and other cities. ITA’s Data Science Federation team includes: Maryam Abbassi, Hunter Owens, Anthony Lyons, Kuljeet Arora, Tiffany Chu, Ian Rose, and Gio Maslog. Deputy Mayor Miguel Sangalang, the Mayor’s Chief of Staff Matt Szabo, and AGM Jeanne Holm accepted the award.
