The Los Angeles Mayor's Office of Budget & Innovation (MOBI) and Information Technology Agency is partnering with Goren Holm Ventures (GHV) to host a blockchain version of "Shark Tank" called Block Tank at the upcoming CIS - The Leading Investment Focused Blockchain Conference, on Tuesday, Oct 15th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Focusing on "pitches" from four early-stage blockchain companies with solutions in areas of importance to the City - sustainability, citizen id and online voting. The winning team will work with the City to execute a pilot project showing how their solution can help Angelenos.
