How does the Bureau of Street Services fix and prioritize the hundreds of potholes on City streets that are submitted through 311 and the MyLA 311 app? The Data Science Federation worked with the team at Street Services and students at Claremont Graduate University to build a real-time dashboard to prioritize potholes fixed each day, in near real time, rather than on the 2-month cycle that existed before. This increased responsiveness and helps the more annoying and dangerous potholes get filled faster.
