In its inaugural year, the Bloomberg Foundation has awarded the top gold honor to the City of Los Angeles for our work in being a data-driven city. The work of ITA’s Data Science Federation and the Mayor’s Open Data and i-Teams were featured. Mayor Garcetti noted, “Data shines a light on the problem and inspires targeted action.
