Disaster Recovery Infrastructure
The disaster recovery infrastructure includes an alternate server room facility within the City's infrastructure and a contract with an external disaster recovery vendor. An annual disaster recovery test is conducted for distributed and mainframe applications. 

Remote Access Infrastructure
A remote access infrastructure is being implemented to assist departments in deploying a mobile workforce environment. The remote access infrastructure will provide access to department applications and is architected with stringent security measures. 

Data Center Environment
The 24 x 7 ITA Data Center environment supports over 200 servers, the mainframe enterprise server, storage area network environment, tape library system, network security infrastructure, Internet infrastructure, high-speed printers, and the Network Control Center.

SERVICES

• Manages the 24 X 7 ITA Data Center including the centralized server farm, Internet Co-location facility, high-speed printing, distributed and mainframe systems.
• Provides computer security services in prevention of unauthorized access to resources within the City's network.
• Provides the Technology Service Center help desk service for end user computer problems.
• Supports the business continuity and disaster recovery infrastructure for computer systems.
